Concerto Competition
The Concord Chamber Orchestra Concerto Competition is made possible by the generosity of the Dorothy J. Oestreich Concerto Scholarship Endowment. The Concord Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1975 to provide performances of classical music for the enjoyment of area audiences and to offer talented musical performance opportunities.
Through it's annual concertero competition, Concord give an outstanding young musician the opportunity to perform with an orchestra. Concord's musicians practice a wide variety of professions and come from all age groups. We share a deep love of music and the joy of performing it with like-minded people.
Congratulations to this year's winner of the Concerto Competition: Samuel Livingston, Marimba - Kopetzki, Concerto for Marimba and String Orchestra. Click here for a complete listing of the results.
